Insurance companies........the new doctors?

Are you letting your insurance company dictate your health care? Are they becoming the new doctors, if they determine your care, then yes. How qualified are they?

They ARE NOT qualified, so why do you let them determine your care? As many of you know, structural rehabilitation is a process. It requires an investment in time and money, but the end results have proven it's success. I know times are tough, but when you allow your visit limit determine what kind of care you choose, you are doing yourself a grave inservice.

If you are working with someone like myself that is more concerned about your care than the bottom line, they will work something out. Many people are opting to stay under care after insurance is finished paying because they see the benefit. I hope you will to.

Different kind of chiro............

I know I know, you've heard it before, "I'm a different kind of chiropractor". But honestly, I am.

Today, I had the privledge of discussing a patients x-rays with her. Before I start, here's a little history of this patient. Since 19 years old she has been to 10 different chiropractors for the same symptom, Neck Pain (which for those of you that don't know this, I love difficult neck cases). After only getting temporarily relief, she gave up on my profession until she heard that I was a "differnt kind of chiro"

Today, a very discouraged women now has faith that I can help her with her symptoms. I saw her face light up and she thanked me. At the end of our visit, she stated, "I have never had such and in depth report, thank you, you are truley different."

DIFFERENT ROCKS!!!! I will take it.

Til next time.

Pain pain go away.........

Isn't it funny how we ignore our bodies every single day, or we pop pills to make it through the day. Pain is your body's way of telling you something is wrong.

I had a patient come in the other day as said, "Doc, I feel great, but I have this pretty bad pain in my elbow." I chuckled and said, how are you great if you have significant pain? Something to ponder, right.....

After examining it and learning more about the pain, I found that a fall on an outstretched hand was the culprit. A quick adjustment to the elbow and then he was actually great.

Moral of the story, we think pain is the normal when it is not.............Whether it's your elbow, your neck, your back, or your knee, get it checked out.
